Aqua-Aide 2kg

A nutritionally dense formula to help replenish electrolytes and salts in your horse.

Much like us, when horses exercise, they can become dehydrated - this can lead to decreased performance, muscle cramp, and fatigue. Aqua-Aide helps to replenish those vital electrolytes and natural salts to keep your equestrian companion in tip-top condition.

  • Aqua-Aide should ideally be administered in drinking water for optimum absorption
  • Mix at a rate of two measures (30g) per litre of water
  • Recommended dose - 1L for every 20 minutes actual sweating time, preferably within one hour of the work/sweating being completed
  • When introducing Aqua-Aide for the first time, provide a source of water without the electrolyte to avoid the risk of the horse not drinking
  • For horses who will not take Aqua-Aide solution, administer two measures (30g) for every 20 minutes actual sweating time in wet sloppy feed and ensure fresh drinking water is available at all times
  • Note: Electrolytes given with insufficient fluid could increase the risk of dehydration
  • Aqua-Aide can be administered no longer than four hours before work to “pre-load” a horse’s system with ions which are ready for the body to replenish salts as they are lost through sweating.
  • Weight: 2kg
