Carr & Day & Martin® Cornucrescine Hoof Barrier strengthens and supports hoof structure to help improve health and shoe retention.

Cornucrescine Hoof Barrier creates a 'one way barrier' to protect the hoof from excessive absorption of water and urine. 

Cornucrescine Hoof Barrier waterproofs the hoof but also allows it to breathe naturally and repel moisture, and contains an anti-bacterial agents to help protect against infection.

Carr & Day & Martin® Cornucrescine Hoof Barrier is suitable for soft and crumbly hooves and ideal for everyday use. Integral brush for easy application.

How to Apply

To use this product, make sure your horse's hooves are clean and dry.

To maintain healthy hooves, apply the product with the internal brush daily. It should be applied to the hoof wall below the coronet band, including the sole and frog if desired.

It is recommended to use it before exposing the hooves to wet or muddy conditions. The product dries in minutes and leaves a clear, non-sticky finish.

If the hooves are damaged, it is recommended to use Cornucrescine Original Hoof Ointment along with this product to promote hoof growth and aid re-structuring.
