Perfect for horses that require increased amounts of energy or those that need increased condition, the Mollichaff Alfalfa Oil contains a similar energy level to medium energy hard feed.
Made with a pure alfalfa which contains a high source of digestible fibre and quality protein, blended with a generous amount of pure soya oil. Due to the high fibre state, Alfalfa Oil is a 'slow-release' energy and provides more of a natural diet then cereals found in other feeds which can cause excitability or fizzyness.
Alfalfa is both naturally low in starch and sugar whilst the soya oil provides energy as well as helping to keep the coat beautifully glossy. Containing no added molasses, Alfalfa Oil is suitable for all types of horses and ponies and is also safe to feed to those that may be prone to laminitis.
